AI VERSUS ME

So, here's the scoop. Recently I needed a Brand Story for a client. For fun, I went to three different AI platforms, entered the parameters and waited the .25 seconds for the results.
Hmmm. It wasn't quite what I envisioned so I put in more details thinking this will help "them" get it right.
All three platforms spit out a new brand story with the usual emojis and cheerleader language they all use and the ole, so, is this a wrap? I am here to help you fine-tune it! Let's keep it rolling! You got this!
After another fifity minutes (at least) of me diligently adding more facts and words, explaining more of this and more of that to get "them" to give me something worthwhile, I got three more versions several times over.
But they weren't quite right. They all use certain phrases. And while they try to give you what you're asking, they aren't human so "they" don't quite get it. Nuances? Nope.
Finally, frustrated, I said to myself, you know what? This isn't what I want. I have spent two hours trying to get AI to write something I already have in my head.
Wouldn't it be faster if I wrote the whole thing myself? I am a Published Copywriter, right? So, let's use that talent.
Within minutes (not seconds), I had exactly what I wanted. It had the storytelling effect I wanted with exactly the right balance of emotion and fact.
These are new frontiers everyone, but don't rely on AI to do your work. It's easy to spot and it's not quite there yet. Will that change later? Probably.
But for now?
AI = 0
ME = 1
